Wayne County Court Services remodel is nearing completion.

Otte Construction, Inc. was the successful low bidder to remodel the existing Juvenile Detention Center adjacent to the Wayne County Courthouse. The facility will be occupied by Judge Ensz and his staff at the east portion of the building and the Probation offices will occupy the west portion of the building. This project is scheduled to be completed in July, 2006.

State National Bank is becoming a fixture of downtown Wayne once again.

After years of seeing the corner of 2nd and Main Street as a park, the park is gone and a two and a half story building has taken its place. Otte Construction, Inc. was selected to construct the new facility for State National Bank & Trust in 2004 and construction started in July of 2005. This new landmark for Wayne is scheduled to be completed in late fall of 2006.

Otte Construction, Inc. completes the new NNPPD’s Operations Center.

Otte Construction, Inc. was selected to be the Construction Manager for the new Northeast Nebraska Public Power District - Operations Center facility constructed at the corner of 7th and Pheasant Run on the west side of Wayne. The main facility (26,000 sf) consists of office and meeting/training space as well as warehouse and vehicle storage. This project also included a separate building (6,000 sf) for wire storage and transformer repair. The remaining portion of the land is designated for pole and transformer storage and is encompassed by a chain link fence and operable gates.

Otte Construction, Inc. is selected to build the new U-Save Pharmacy in Wayne.

Otte Construction, Inc. was selected to build a 3,100 sf facility for U-Save Pharmacy at the corner of 7th and Nebraska streets. The facility will have two drive-thru lanes at the exterior to supplement the retail and pharmacy space inside the building.

First Church of Christ addition/remodel project is nearing completion.

Otte Construction, Inc. recently completed a 6,100 sf addition to the existing facility creating a new Worship Center, offices, classroom spaces, sound booth, nursery and support areas. The project also includes the remodeling of the existing nursery into a family style restroom. This project is scheduled to be completed in July, 2008.

Otte Construction, Inc. sees a change of faces in the office.

Jason Peschel will soon be leaving Otte Construction, Inc. to make a career change. He, and his family, will be moving to Pullman, Washington where Jason will be an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture and Construction Management at Washington State University. Jason’s successor will be Tate Nelson. Tate has worked for Otte Construction, Inc. in the field for the last two years and has a degree in Construction Management from Wayne State College.
